Dunstan Hospital Energy Centre

The Dunstan Hospital Energy Centre is located on hospital grounds and provides hot water via the reticulation system for heating and other requirements.

The Energy Centre was refurbished in 2005 with the two coal-fired hot water boilers being replaced with a low-pressure hot water wood chip boiler and a diesel back up boiler.

The Energy Centre was built by and continues to be owned and operated by Pioneer Energy Renewables.
